In February of 2006, Beth opened the doors to a small private studio gym to offer a unique exercise experience to the Spicewood community. Beth understood that starting a fitness program could be a scary thing for some and knew some folks might feel self-conscious about walking through that door the first time. Beth understood that because she's felt the same way...she's been there. With this awareness in mind, Leaping for Life Fitness was designed to enable her clients to feel comfortable, welcome and safe.
Beth has been a personal trainer since 2001 and rehabilitation specialist since 2003. In the fall of 2009, Beth attended Cooper Institute for further education. She has trained people from the ages 13 to 85 and is experienced at working with people of all levels: from preparing for events to assisting with recovery from injuries and rehabbing after joint replacement surgery. Beth has spent her life struggling with weight and has developed balanced ways to live without sacrificing pleasure. One of her favorite mottos is: "It's all about balance!" And because she personally loves to exercise, she is great at debunking the concept that exercise is all drudgery and no fun. "Being active is fun! I think one of the things I do best as a trainer is helping people learn how to lead more healthy and balanced lifestyles".
